Game Rules
What is and is not allowed, and what happens when a rule is broken.
Last updated 2026-08-30
These rules apply everywhere in the game and on this site — chat, trades, battles, names, and anything else a player can say or do. They exist so the world stays worth playing in.
Breaking a rule can cost you your account. Read the punishment ladder before assuming a first offence is free.
Dealing with the team
Staff will tell you what rule you broke and what the consequence is. They will not debate a decision in public chat.
- Do not impersonate a member of staff, in your name, your bio, or a message.
- Staff will never ask for your password. Anybody who does is trying to steal your account.
- Argue a decision through the appeal route, not by opening a second account.
Your account
- One person, one account. Additional accounts used to funnel items, money or Pokemon to a main account ("farm accounts") are treated as one offence across all of them.
- Names may not impersonate another player or member of staff, contain slurs, advertise another service, or be a random string of characters.
- Your account is yours. Do not sell it, buy one, share it, or hand your password to a friend "just to help with a gym".
- You are responsible for what happens on your account. "My brother did it" is not a defence, and neither is a shared password.
Playing fairly
- No automation. Scripts, bots, macros, auto-clickers and modified clients are all the same offence.
- Do not exploit a bug. If you find one that gives you an advantage, report it — reporting one has never cost anybody their account, and using one has.
- Do not interfere with other players' games: no scam trades, no deliberate disconnects to dodge a loss, no harassment to drive somebody off a route.
- Real-money trading is banned in both directions. Selling Pokemon, items or currency for money, or buying them, ends both accounts.
Talking to people
This applies to every channel: public chat, private messages, trade notes, your bio, and anything you write on this site.
- No insults, slurs, or harassment. Disagreeing is fine; making somebody's day worse on purpose is not.
- No spam or flooding — repeated messages, walls of capitals, or the same advertisement in three channels.
- No discrimination on race, nationality, religion, gender, sexuality or disability. This one has no warning tier.
- No promotion of violence, self-harm, or illegal substances.
- Keep it civil in trade and battle channels. They are for trading and finding battles.
Punishments
Consequences escalate, and staff record them. The tier depends on what you did, not on how sorry you are afterwards.
| Offence | Typical first result | Repeat | Persistent | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Spam, flooding | Warning | Chat mute, 24h | Chat mute, 7 days | | Insults, trolling | Chat mute, 24h | Chat mute, 7 days | Account suspension | | Discrimination, hate speech | Account suspension | Permanent | Permanent | | Botting or automation | Account suspension | Permanent | Permanent | | Exploiting a bug | Rollback and warning | Suspension | Permanent | | Real-money trading | Permanent, both sides | — | — | | Account sharing or selling | Permanent | — | — |
A permanent suspension is permanent. There is no timer running down.
Appeals
You may appeal once. Use the contact form, include your trainer name, and explain what you think happened. An appeal that is abusive is closed without a reply.
Appeals are not a second chance to argue the rule. They are for cases where the facts are wrong.
What we do not promise
- The game is under active development. Features change, and occasionally something is reset for a good reason.
- Progress can be lost to a bug. We will restore what we reasonably can, and we cannot promise to restore everything.
- These rules change as the game does. Material changes are announced, and continuing to play means accepting the current version.
