About

What this is, who it is for, and where it is going.

Last updated 2026-08-30

A browser-based Pokemon game you can play without installing anything.

Catch across the full national dex, battle with Generation 9 mechanics — including Mega Evolution and Z-Moves — explore a 1:1 Kanto, and trade with other players. It runs in a tab, on a phone or a desktop, and it is free.

What makes it different

The mechanics are the real ones. Damage, accuracy, critical hits, type effectiveness, abilities, held items and status conditions follow the games rather than an approximation of them. The battle engine is built against Pokemon Showdown as a reference.

The server decides everything. Damage rolls, catch outcomes, shiny chances and rewards are computed server-side. Nothing a browser sends can change an outcome.

Three languages. The interface, and the game's own text — every species, move, ability, item and location — exists in English, Russian and Polish. Roughly 200,000 words of it.

Where it is

Kanto is the launch region: 94 locations, their encounter tables, gyms and story. More regions are planned.

The public database on this site — every species, move, item, ability, location and the type chart — is generated from the same data the game runs on, so it is never out of date with what you will actually meet in a battle.

Who makes it

A small project, built in the open. It is a non-commercial fan project and is not affiliated with Nintendo, Creatures Inc. or GAME FREAK Inc.
